Welcome to the (infertile) jungle...

We got fun and games...

Well, only if you count having odd plastic things put up your Gi-Gi by fat ugly nurses who can't manage to dress themselves. And knowing what the internetian world can be like, it wouldn't suprise me if some of you do!
This was the last test I had to get done before we do our first IUI cycle. Just like most of the tests I've had done to address why I'm reproductively incapable, it involved lying back, staring up at the artexed seeing and strip lights with flies in the cover (incidentally, it can't have been cleaned out since summer, there was a bloody butterfly in one of them!), knickers in hand, piece of hospital paper so small that even Untidy Nurse laughed at the abysmal attempt to 'protect mt modesty' (god bless the NHS, eh?), thinking that hopefully, it'll be the beginning of treatment which leads me to lying back on a table, legs spread, only that time the difference will be we'll be getting a baby, and the only procedures for protecting my dignity will be prayers of not crapping on the birthing area, and some big latex gloves, just incase the worst does happen!

So the next step is the gathering of the test results, and then starting the tablets to give me the period I can't seem to get on my own, followed by needles, drugs, crazy mood swings and, you guessed it, more (not so hot) Gi-Gi actions.

Stay tuned, it could be one hell of a show.

What would you change?

Now that I'm looking at redoing things, I'm wondering what to leave in, and what to leave out. I want more of the people I know in real life to be able to read this, so I'll need to stop venting so much about the people I know. The likelihood (how the fuck am I supposed to spell that?!) of those people I want to slag off most finding this site is much higher, which is a scary thought. Saving myself that hassle will mean editing the archives as well. Good god, what have I let myself in for.

And incidentally, if you're reading this, and you think it might be about you, and it wasn't me who told you the address, there's a good chance you're right.

A Fresh Start

This is what happens when you don't keep blogs up to date. Suddenly you get the urge to write something, somewhere, hell anywhere (almost, still don't like blogging on my space). So, for any of you who still read any of this, here we go. I'll do the archives soon, but for now, you just have to manage with what you get.

Big News? Ok, no baby, but we do have a puppy, who is almost 3.5 months old. His name is Malachi, and he's a German Shepherd. Also, we start the IUI cycle anytime from Jan 7th onwards, depending on my period (hahahaha! You can guarantee it'll go wrong, can't you?).
